Have you been doing QDMA?

Yes. We are going into our third consecutive year on our leases. Our primary focus with Quality Deer Management is getting deer to the older age classes. We run a minimal amount of deer hunts to keep harvest low and promote the growth of the deer. We also have numerous mineral licks and run feeders during stressful periods of the year. We are going to focus on a deer census this year and offer the opportunity for late season doe hunts. Take a look at the deer hunting page for more information.

Do you have antler restrictions in place or history of them?

We do not have antler restrictions in place. If you are wanting to shoot a deer with less than eight points you are in the wrong place. We offer the opportunity to take world class whitetails.

Any Trophy fees?

There are no trophy fees. We want you to shoot a true Kansas Monarch. The fun in a hunt is the experience. If there are to many intangibles a fun hunt can quickly turn into a stressful hunt.

Do you have aerial maps of where we will hunt?

Absolutely, I can get maps for you to use while you are here and help you navigate on google earth during a phone conversation.

Any fees at all other than the hunt cost?

-If you are deer hunting we do not cape or process deer. If you are wanting to do it yourself we would be more than happy to help. There is a local taxidermist that will cape deer for a small fee.

-We provide dinner every evening of your stay. You will be responsible for meals and snacks other than dinner.

How many other hunters will be on this farm with us?

None. When you hunt with us you will hunt with your party.

How will you decide where we hunt?

Scouting. We will be where the game is at.

Do you process the deer harvested, and is there a fee?

If you take your deer to a local locker plant there will be a fee from them. If you want to process it yourself we will help without a fee. If you do not want your deer we can donate the meat to a food bank.

Equipment you suggest we bring other than obvious.

Bring the obvious. If you are coming on your first hunt for a specific animal contact us for what you will need. If you are an experienced hunter and want to know what works in the area contact us. We will be talking before your outdoor experience and we will assist in your planning for the trip.

How many hunters will have hunted it prior to us?

On deer hunts we like to run 1-2 people per farm. Most stand sites get sat in one time and some didn't get sat in last year. If you check our calendar you will be able to see hunts that have been booked and have not booked. If you are interested in current information please contact us.

Do we do our own food?

You will be responsible for food for the rest of the day.

Exactly how many full/partial days of hunting we get?

It depends on the hunt your are looking into. Check our calender for available dates and hunt lengths.
